Michael "Tim" Eskey focuses his practice in the areas of Medical Negligence, Catastrophic Injury, Product Liability, Litigation and Appellate Litigation. He graduated from Brown University in 1980 and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1983.

Before joining DeLuca & Weizenbaum in 2002, Tim practiced as an appellate litigator for several years. From 1988 to 1997, he lived in Paris, France, where he worked as a professor at the American University of Paris and taught European Community Law, International Trade Law, and Research and Writing. During that time, he was also Adjunct Professor at The University of Hartford Business School, Paris-La Defense, where he taught International Business Law and European Community Law. He also lectured on the European Community, the GATT, International Organizations, and international Business Law at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the University of Paris II (Pantheon-Assas), and the Institut Superieur de Gestion (ISG).

Tim is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

He is the author of The Institutional and Legal Framework of the EEC, American University of Paris, 1992; Legal Research and Writing, American University of Paris, 1990; and contributed to International Trade and Professional Services: Advancing Liberalization Through Reform, OECD Proceedings (1997).

Tim Eskey is admitted to practice in Rhode Island, the U.S. District Court, District of Rhode Island, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, First Circuit. He has briefed and argued numerous cases on appeal in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston.
